The album presented here. Crystal Image II, also known asthe Rainbow Album, was released in the USA in 1974 on Dream Records. What a sound!.You can't helpshake along with it. Their live shows must have been memorable, too. They used to bringa huge light show, complete with a 40 foot movie screen, on theyshowed short films.
They supported such bands as Quicksilver, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and many other, now legendary former local acts. Their music was in the vein of Jefferson Airplane, just sometimes even heavier with fantastic fuzz wah-wah guitars."

thanks for the great sounds !!!!!
Hi from Cy
The postings from the last couple of days have been 'awesome'. We have been listening again to German Rock, a musical style wholly unique to that neck of the woods. The Germans simply had to reinvent their music post 1945, to veer away from Volksmusic persee into their take on Stockhausen etal.
Some bands were happy to be copyists in the style of The Fabs but the bands you are featuring seem to have been made of sterner stuff.
I love the layout of this blog, the art work and the info is top notch!
Thanks for your labours.
Cy from Pck.
hello chris !the link is not good!!
I missed this one when you posted it in one of your previous blogs and I have been waiting for a second chance - until now. Thank you very much!!!
Similarly missed albums are:
Light - "The Story Of Moses" (German progressive 1972)
Coloured Balls - "Summer Jam" (Australian blues rock)
If you could give me a second chance on these ones as well reposting them, I would greatly appreciate that!
Sincerely yours (as always),
Thalamus
Thanx!
